$500 Scenic Route Sweepstakes

Official Rules

1. HOW TO ENTER. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Delta Community $500 Scenic Route Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on October 1, 2022 and ends on November 30, 2022 (the “Promotion Period”). There are two ways to enter:
   1. You (“Entrant”) will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes if during the Promotion Period you both apply and fund a car or vehicle loan through Delta Community Credit Union.
   2. Alternatively, hand print your complete name, address, age, e-mail address (if available), daytime/evening phone numbers and the words, “Delta Community $500 Scenic Route Sweepstakes” on a 3” x 5” card, and mail in an envelope with sufficient postage affixed to: Delta Community Credit Union, 3250 Riverwood Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339, Attention: Marketing Dept. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 30, 2022 and received by December 7, 2022.  

   Limit of one (1) entry per person by any means.

2. ELIGIBILITY. Entrants must be US citizens at least eighteen (18) years of age who are either Delta Community Credit Union members as of September 30, 2022 or residents of the counties in Delta Community Credit Union’s field of membership. Residents of Florida are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes. Business accounts are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes.  Entrants must not be employees or family members of employees (including spouse, children, parents and siblings of employees) of Sponsor, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and any individuals engaged in any way in the development, production, printing, distribution or execution of this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law.
3. PRIZES. Ten (10) prizes shall be awarded, each consisting of a $500 cash deposit into the winner’s Delta Community Savings account (the “Prizes”).  If a non-member wins, the winners will receive an official check in the amount of $500.  The winners will be selected and the prizes awarded after the close of the Promotion Period (estimated to be on or around December 10, 2022).  Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Prizes: $5,000. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. All federal and state taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. The winners will be issued a 1099 tax form for the value of the prize and will be required to fill out a W-9 form. Failure to abide by these rules may result in forfeiture of the Prize. 
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS. Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about December 10, 2022 by Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Winners will immediately be notified by telephone or email. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable or winners cannot be located or does not respond by December 16, 2022, an alternative winner will be selected. Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, and where not limited by law, a publicity release within five (5) days of prize notification or the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Prize will only be awarded if winner complies with these Official Rules.  
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Sweepstakes offered to eligible participants, but void where prohibited or restricted by law.  By submitting your own entry and/or accepting a prize, you specifically acknowledge and agree that Sponsor may use your name and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By submitting an entry, you agree to release Delta Community Credit Union and its advertising agencies, officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind associated with participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, participation in or use or misuse of any prize.  You accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor relating to participation in the Sweepstakes, selection of winner and awarding of prize.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  No correspondence will be acknowledged.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it deems unacceptable.  By entering this contest, you also acknowledge and agree that all personal information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Sponsor’s privacy policy, which is available at  https://www.deltacommunitycu.com/forms/privacy-policy.aspx.
6. RELEASES. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, guardian of Entrant agrees that the Sponsor, its affiliates and its employees, officers, representatives, its respective successors, assigns, and agencies, shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss, or damage of any kind or any other causes of action or claims related to Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold Delta Community Credit Union, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective members, officers, employees, and/or other partners, harmless from and against any and all claims, expenses (including attorneys’ fees and settlement costs), damages, suits, costs, demands, and/or judgments whatsoever, made by any third party due to or arising out of Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the use or misuse of the Prize by anyone other than Sponsor. As a condition to accepting the Prize, Entrants may be required to execute a separate release and indemnification agreement with Sponsor with respect to the use of the Prize.

8. WINNERS. The winners may be posted on www.DeltaCommunityCU.com by December 31, 2022. For identification of the winner, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Delta Community Credit Union, Marketing Department, 3250 Riverwood Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339.
