“Delta Community Fall 2024 Pay and Get Paid $1,000 Sweepstakes"

Official Rules

  1. HOW TO ENTER. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Delta Community Fall 2024 Pay and Get Paid $1,000 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on September 1, 2024 7:00 am ET and ends on October 31, 2024 11:59 pm ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). There are three ways to enter: 
    1. You (“Entrant”) will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes each time you use Zelle® connected to your Delta Community Credit Union (“Sponsor”) account to send money during the Sweepstakes Period. The Zelle® payment must be (1) scheduled and completed during the Sweepstakes Period, (2) $5 or more, and (3) paid to a person different from the sender; 
    2. You will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes each time you use Delta Community’s Online Bill Pay service to (1) add a new payee and make a payment to the payee (the new payee must be added during the Sweepstakes Period and the payment must be $10 or more and scheduled and completed during the Sweepstakes Period), (2) activate a new eBill or (3) set up a new AutoPay or Recurring Payment during the Sweepstakes Period;
    3. Alternatively, hand print your complete name, address, age, e-mail address (if available), daytime/evening phone numbers and the words, “Delta Community Fall 2024 Pay and Get Paid $1,000 Sweepstakes” on a plain piece of 3”x 5” paper, and mail in an envelope with sufficient postage affixed to: Delta Community Credit Union, 3250 Riverwood Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339, Attention: Marketing Dept. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by October 31, 2024 and received by November 7, 2024.    

    There is no limit to the number of entries per consumer, however, each mailed entry will count as one (1) entry into the random drawing and must be mailed in a separate postmarked and stamped envelope.   

  2. ELIGIBILITY. Entrants must be US citizens residing in the US throughout the Sweepstakes Period who are i) at least eighteen (18) years of age and ii) eligible for membership in Delta Community Credit Union as described at https://www.deltacommunitycu.com/us/en/personal/eligibility.html. Business accounts are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes. Entrants must not be employees, board members or family members of employees or board members (including spouse, children, parents, and siblings of employees) of Sponsor or Early Warning Services, LLC, their subsidiaries and affiliates, and any individuals engaged in any way in the development, production, printing, distribution, or execution of this Sweepstakes.  To be eligible to enter or win, all Delta Community accounts of Entrant (including accounts where Entrant is a joint owner or joint borrower) must be in good standing (including but not limited to having deposit balances above zero, any applicable loan payments current and all accounts in compliance with any other terms, conditions and governing requirements). Void where prohibited by law. 
  3. PRIZES. Five (5) prizes shall be awarded, each consisting of a $1,000 cash deposit into the winner’s Delta Community Savings account (the “Prizes”).  If a non-member wins, that winner will receive a check in the amount of $1,000. The winners will be selected and the Prizes awarded after the close of the Sweepstakes Period (estimated to be on or around November 30, 2024).  The odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted. All federal and state taxes on Prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. The winners will be issued a 1099 tax form for the value of the Prize and will be required to fill out a W-9 form. Failure to abide by these rules may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
  4. SELECTION OF WINNERS. Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about November 30, 2024 by Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Winners will immediately be notified by telephone or email. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable or a winner cannot be located or does not respond by December 10, 2024, an alternative winner will be selected. Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, and where not limited by law, a publicity release within five (5) days of prize notification or the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. The Prize will only be awarded if winners comply with these Official Rules.  
  5. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Sweepstakes are offered to eligible participants, but void where prohibited or restricted by law.  By submitting your own entry and/or accepting a prize, you specifically acknowledge and agree that Sponsor may use your name and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law. By submitting an entry, you agree to release Delta Community Credit Union and its advertising agencies, officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind associated with participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, participation in or use or misuse of any prize.  You accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor relating to participation in the Sweepstakes, selection of winners and awarding of prize.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  No correspondence will be acknowledged.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it deems unacceptable.  By entering this sweepstakes, you also acknowledge and agree that all personal information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Sponsor’s privacy policy, which is available at https://www.deltacommunitycu.com/content/dam/deltacommunitycreditunionprogram/documents/home/forms/privacy-policy.pdf
  6. RELEASES. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Entrant agrees that the Sponsor, its affiliates and its employees, officers, representatives, its respective successors, assigns, and agencies, shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss, or damage of any kind or any other causes of action or claims related to Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Entrant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold Delta Community Credit Union, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective members, officers, employees, and/or other partners, harmless from and against any and all claims, expenses (including attorneys’ fees and settlement costs), damages, suits, costs, demands, and/or judgments whatsoever, made by any third party due to or arising out of Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the use or misuse of the Prize by anyone other than Sponsor. As a condition to accepting the Prize, Entrant may be required to execute a separate release and indemnification agreement with the Sponsor with respect to the use of the Prize.

  8. WINNERS. The winner may be posted on DeltaCommunityCU.com by November 30, 2024. For identification of the winner, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Delta Community Credit Union, Marketing Department, 3250 Riverwood Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339
