What is the minimum age for a member to have a Visa® Debit Card?
A primary member must be at least thirteen (13) years old and maintain an adult joint owner until age eighteen (18) to have a checking account with a Visa Debit Card.
If the minor is a joint owner on an adult's account, they may have a Visa Debit Card as long as a written consent by the primary member is received.
In some situations, an adult may add a minor as an authorized signer to their Visa Debit Card as long as they have provided a written request. The adult's checking account must be in good standing.
